The Alford Memorial Radio Club is Atlanta's premier Amateur Radio club. The AMRC is 501c(3) non-profit organization and an ARRL Special Service Club that provides many communication and educational services to the entire Atlanta
community. They also provide emergency support with the Dekalb County ARES group and offer CaVEc sposored Amateur Radio
licensing test sessions.
The club's flagship repeater, 146.760, was the first 2m repeater in the Atlanta area and
is positioned on top of Stone Mountain, Atlanta's famous landmark. The AMRC also sponsors three other W4BOC repeaters operating on the frequencies of 145.450, 224.760 and 444.250.
Our club hosts the largest hamfest in Georgia on the first full weekend in
November every year. The Hamfest is known as the Stone Mountain Hamfest and is held at the Lawrenceville, GA Fairgrounds on Sugarloaf Parkway.

The Alford Memorial Radio Club badge is available in two distinctive styles. The original badge is engraved and has a white background with the club logo and lettering in red. This style badge measures approximately 2.5" x 3.5" and is $13.50 and includes a safety pin fastener.
The newest AMRC badge is made using our full color process and has a white background with the club logo in red, blue & black. The call sign is in red with a blue outline and the name and city/state in black. This style badge measures 2" x 3" and is $13.50 and includes a safety pin fastener.
