The Goddard Amateur Radio Club (GARC) is based at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. Its club call sign is WA3NAN, and it was founded in 1968 by NASA employees. The club focuses heavily on space-related amateur radio, HF, satellites, technical experimentation, education, and public-service communications.

The club also has HF stations, VHF/UHF satellite facilities, and a radio test/development lab, and has supported ARISS contacts between schools and the International Space Station. Historically, WA3NAN was particularly well known for retransmitting Space Shuttle air-to-ground audio on amateur frequencies.
